What We Value
Jesus
We value Him above everything else. We are all about “loving us some Jesus”. We see God through Jesus and the life He lived. It is His Life, His Love and His Way that we seek to imitate. We want to be followers of Christ.
Worship
We exist to worship God. It is not in just the songs we sing but it is our life. We believe that it is when we are in harmony with Him all things fall into place and that as we enter into a deeper and higher level of worship that it impacts our lives and spiritual growth and that we become better followers of Christ.
Spirit-filled
We believe in the importance of being Spirit-filled. It is through the Holy Spirit that life transformation occurs and every spiritual gift mentioned in God’s Word can be and should be manifested today. We encourage everyone to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit and be empowered.
People
We value the image of God in all people, everywhere. We believe that we were created to live deeply with one another, carrying each other's burdens, sharing our possessions, to pray for and confess our sins to each other, to suffer and celebrate together. It's in these honest, loving relationships that God transforms us and truth becomes a reality. The way of Jesus cannot be lived alone.
Serving
We are passionate about relieving suffering and fighting injustice, joining the God of the oppressed in living out the transforming message of the resurrected Jesus. Jesus calls his Church to be a compelling force for good in the world, and we believe that the Church is at its best when it serves, sacrifices, and loves - caring about the things God cares about. We were created to live for something larger than ourselves.
Authenticity
We can’t be what God has called us to be if we can’t be real with each other. None of us have it all together we come with a myriad of junk. We are not out to pretend that our “stuff don’t stink”, we realize that we are on a journey that requires us to act, evaluate and readjust our lives to be better followers of Christ. We are not “Holier-than-thou”, we’re just real, “the us” who God made, authentic.
